The 2019 Belgian Poker Challenge (BPC) will take place at the Grand Casino de Namur in Namur, Belgium, from Friday, November 29 until Sunday, December 8, 2019.

During the series, the players will fight for the Belgian title and for a share of the €500,000 guaranteed prize pool up for grabs in the Main Event.

While all the guarantees combined reach the staggering total of €750,000, BPC organisers' expectations are bolder: they believe the prize pool will cross the seven-figure mark and make BPC winners even happier than in 2018.

The event is one of the most important in the region, and to accommodate the desire of fans and families to follow the adventures of their heroes at the felt, the BPC will be streamed live on a variety of platforms.

As usual for BPC events, the key to their success is an attractive tournament calendar full of interesting options and ways to stay busy throughout the entire festival.

This year's top events include a €100,000 GTD. High Roller (buy-in: €2,200) and a €500,000 GTD. Main Event with a €1,100 entry fee.

The Main Event features 50-minute levels on Day 1, then 70-minute levels on Day 2, and 90-minute levels during the last three days of competition.

If you don't want to pony-up the entire buy-in fee, do know that the Casino Namur give you plenty of action to win a seat and play for the €500,000 guarantee at a fraction of the cost.

With 19 live satellites on the schedule, you only need to make your way to the Casino to play for the Main Event seat.

The 2019 Belgian Poker Challenge brings also a few new events to the calendar. The list include a €250 buy-in Warm Up event on November 29-30, and a €250 buy-in Short Deck on December 7.

Poland's Puczylowski to Defend the Title

Casino Namur Poker Event

Last year, Polish hero Marcin Puczylowski took down the Main Event title and a €126,252 check after a short heads up with France's Donato Sparavilla (€79,208).

In the calendar also in December 2018, the series' High Roller turned out to be an all-French affaire, despite a total of 82 entrants.

France's Stéphane Nicot and Parham Ahoor were the only two survivors at the table when they decided to sign off on a two-man deal that brought €80,000 to each player.
